This Web-site for Uttarakhand Circle was got prepared by NIC Uttarakhand and has the following features –

(1)          Integrated PO Management System – This is an intranet having the MIS module for Uttarakhand Circle that covers information on all subjects like Gradation List, Establishment, GDS Establishment, Buildings, Accounts etc.

(2)          Information Sharing System – This is a Postal Despatch and Receipt System in which letters are being uploaded and downloaded between Circle Office with the Divisions.

(3)      Retail Post – This is software on which rural retail service in Uttarakhand is being operated for sales and stocks.

(4)      Know your SB Accounts Balance – This is a facility to check the balance in SB accounts for the account holder as on a particular date, once the customer feeds the account number and password. This popularizes the use of our website and also is a vigilance tool for customer to check their PB balance with reference to balance in the Post Office Account.

(5)          Information about the Divisions – Information about the divisions could be gathered by clicking on the relevant Division on the website.

The web site is still in the process of continuous up gradation to make it an effective Circle Management Tool.
